Physical vs Permanent Fruits: What's the Difference?
Physical and permanent fruits trade at wildly different values. Learn what each one is, why permanents cost so much more, and how to value them in trades.
Every Blox Fruits trade discussion comes back to one distinction: physical or permanent. The two versions of the same fruit are valued completely differently, and mixing them up is the most common way to lose a trade.
What each version is
A physical fruit is a consumable item — you find it, buy it from the shop, or trade it, and it's gone once eaten. A permanent fruit is an account unlock: you own that fruit forever and can equip it any time, like a gamepass-style purchase.
Permanent fruits are only obtained through the game shop with Robux, which is why they trade so high — their real-world cost is baked into their value.
Why permanent values dwarf physical ones
A physical Kitsune trades around 660 million, but the permanent version trades for billions. The multiplier isn't random — permanent fruits cost real money and never expire, so traders price them as premium account assets.
This is why a trade of 'three physical mythicals' for 'one permanent legendary' can actually be fair: the permanents carry the weight.
How to compare them in a trade
When building or checking a trade, separate the two sides: add physical values on one line and permanent values on another. The WFL calculator does this automatically using the value list's permanent fruit prices.
If you're new, prefer receiving permanents over physicals in high-value trades — they hold value far better and are easier to re-trade. And always double-check the other side isn't quietly swapping a permanent for a physical on the trade screen.
